The Danehill & Chelwood Gate Community Benefit Society is registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. Its constitution is set out in the Model Rules for Community Ownership, approved by Plunkett UK and registered with the Financial Conduct Authority on 23 September 2026 (registration number 9864).
The Rules set out the way the Society is owned, organised and governed — from how members join and vote, to how the Management Committee runs the pub on the community’s behalf. They also include the statutory asset lock that keeps the pub and its value in community benefit for good.
Please read them alongside the Community Share Prospectus before you invest.
